How bizarre . . . there must be a cycling group somewhere in Rockland County. I would ask the person I know who lives there, but he's an asshole bastard and I no longer speak to him. I bet my dad could find you one, tho'. I was sure I saw cyclists around the New City/Nanuet area . . .and where there are cyclists, there must be some sort of club. . .Hell, if there really isn't? Form one. :) That's what my dad did when he got sick of the Johnson County Bike Club. He and our cousin Mike formed the Cycling Culinarians (started off as our team for the MS 150, which I rode for three years). Our motto was, "We ride to eat!" I kind of wish we were still called that, as dad just did a ride he and Ben invented called the Iron Gut. They rode to some breakfast place, I forget where . . .and then they rode to Bryant's downtown for some barbecue, and then rode to Stroud's (fried chicken joint) for dinner, where all the wives who don't ride met up with them. However, the Prairie Village Yacht Club is a much better name. Since no one in it owns a yacht. Or even a boat, for that matter. They all live in KS and MO, what do they need yachts for? ;)
