I've just posted the last two chapters of Death and the Art of Pyramid Selling to OTL and Southern Stars, and the whole story, all seven chapters, to Horn and Ivory. Apologies to those on all three lists who are going to get some serious repetition. But I'm done, and it's posted, and I can finally say goodbye to the story that's been occuoying a large portion of my writing brain for the past year and a half. Final stats; 24,450 words, seven chapters, and a body count of around eight. No pigeons this time, though. *grins*

*applauds madly* Congratulations! (And don't worry; we can just delete the extra copies of the chapters.) And while I know you always get sooo much feedback for this story, hopefully you won't mind one more piece. ;) I don't typically read a lot of Constantine fic, (though if the others are like this, I may start...) I got the sense that you got the characters perfectly right. That, along with the nice pacing, believable storyline, a great plot... Okay, I don't know how coherent this is coming across as, but I liked it, if you couldn't tell. ^_^

I'll probably have a couple of days of not-writing to give my brain a rest, and then tackle some of the other outstanding projects. Of which, Happily Ever After, the (pleaseohpleaseletitbetruethistime) final Collective Mutants story. I'm almost done, just have a few more scenes to write. The switch from bloody horror back to character drama/humour will be interesting, I have to say.

Final? [mock-horror] No! Oh, nononononononono... [/mock-horror] And I can understand why you might need to take a break between stories, especially when they're so very, very different. I look forward to seeing it.

In other ficcer news, talk has arisen on the Southern Stars list of an Aussie fanficcer LJ community. I'm willing to create one, but my technical knowledge is lacking and I think it would be better served by someone else doing it. I do have LJ codes to spare if someone else would like to volunteer? I'm sure you guys are sick of me organising/running everything anyway. ;)

Bah. It just means that the rest of us don't have to give ourselves headaches worrying about that sort of thing. And given I'm not an Aussie-ficcer - and as such don't have to live with whatever you decide - I feel totally confident in stating that nobody could possibly have a problem with you setting a community up. *g* Of course, the question is: Do you want to? Or would you rather that someone else handles the responsibility, just this once?

Well, whatever you decide, good luck, and have fun! ^_^
