Rostered Days Off are Cool

deathpixieAlthough technically I'm being naughty by taking mine on a Tuesday, which is court day. But my brother and my Dad are coming down - David's getting the laser surgery done on his eyes and needs a native guide and a place to crash. So I'm sitting here waiting for them to turn up, having done the usual clean up and some furniture shifting - David's lending me his washing machine and I had to clear a path for them to bring it in. *happydances* No more spending large amounts of money in the laundromat!
I've been a bit quiet internet-wise the last few days - things have been pretty busy, what with going out to Point Cook (a suburb about 1 and a half hour's trip from here) to see my aunt and uncle and pick up some books of Dad's, a mini-Maelstrom gathering on Saturday, work conferences, work meetings, work work... Our computer program kept crashing yesterday, which was kind of frustrating. Not enough time in the day, I tell you. Things aren't going to settle down this week, either - I have another half-day conference on Wednesday, two meetings on Thursday, and a large pile of today's court work to process in between, plus next weeks' list. I think a quiet weekend will definitely be called for - or a quiet Sunday, at least. *grins*
Better go - if the boys are trying to call me, they aren't getting through.
Oh, and I still haven't heard anything about the Southern Stars LJ community - I guess that means I'm It. It'll have to wait until this weekend, though.
