5 Ways You Know It's Spring In Melbourne

2) You can take off one of the blankets and you don't have to wear socks to bed any more.
3) Attack rain - one minute it will be sunny, the next it's pissing down. But it's still warm.
4) You have a permanently stuffy nose from hayfever, and everyone's eyes look like they're on speed from the anti-histamines.
5) You have to start shaving your legs again because you can ride your bike without the extra-heavy jacket and leggings.

And yes, I look severely drug-affected this morning - the Telfast makes my pupils contract to pinpricks and the rest of my eyes go all glazed and shiny. Scary. *grins* But at least I can breathe now.

Oh, landmark event last night - I finally paid off Walkabout on my credit card. Yep, the cheque from the Tax Department had been cashed. No more debt... Wow, it's quite liberating, really. Could explain why I've been sleeping so much better lately.
