I finally remembered to bring some CDs into work today, after two weeks of forgetting. And since I'm the only one in my section today (Clare is on a course and I'm guessing Jarrod is at the Oaks Day Races, trying to pick up drunken women in spiffy dresses), I can turn the volume up far enough to compensate for the fact my computer speaker is on my bad ear side. After a week and a half of muffled hearing, it's going to be weird should this ever clear up.

I'm doing some work for the instalment section today - going through a pile of applications for instalments that need registrar approval. It's truly scary how some people can rack up $7000+ in fines and then offer to pay them off at $10 a month and expect us to accept it. *shakes head*

I left my iBook happily burning a copy of The Official Fiction for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], and I'll do Hotel Radio tonight, all for mailing on Firday. I like sending people CDs - they don't cost much in postage and they're nice and easy. And personal, in a way - I like making up collections for people, when I have the time.

Oh, and in closing? My government sucks. Well, it always sucks, but at the moment it's sucking more than usual.
