Good news on the union front!

deathpixieThere's been a breakthrough and as a sign of mutual good faith, we're stopping work bans for a month and the Department is increasing wages for VPS 1 and 2 level clerks. What this means is that next pay day (Wednesday) I will get a nice backdated-to-November 1st bonus.
The other good thing is that this is just an interim arrangement and we've still got room to negotiate for our qualifications to remain compulsory to the job.
I'm still leaving PERIN as soon as something better comes up, but this sweetens the whole situation no end.
