Not dead, only managing.

So, since Monday I've officially been the manager in charge of the appeals section. And I've been working my arse off, I can tell you. Which is good, in a way, since I have being bored, but it also means I have less time to do other stuff. And I have to go to meetings, which is annoying, since those get in the way of me finishing work.

So yeah, not dead of mystery virus (which has gone now, thanks for the well-wishes). Just insanely busy.

It is telling, tho' not necessarily bad. And Amanda tends to highjack my spelling on occasion, which is very frustrating, I can tell you...

Re money - I get paid higher duties for a month. Which is very good, since this month is a three-pay month (we get paid fortnightly, and this month is a longish one.)

There's also a possibility of the person for whom I'm temping getting the job he's doing permanently. Which means this one comes open. Something to ponder...
