I hurt, so I guess I'm not dead yet...

deathpixieThe doctor at the hospital was right yesterday - I hurt a lot more today than I did yesterday. All sorts of aches and pains have been making themselves known and felt in all sorts of wonderful ways. The worst is the neck and shoulders - I have a touch of whiplash from being flung bodily onto the road. Still, it could have been a lot worse and I have that healing factor of mine, so hopefully I should only be in pain for a few days. At least the muscle parts - the grazes are truly gross to beyond. :P
Back to work today, mainly because I had stuff I needed to finish and daytime TV is enough to make me hobble into work no matter what. Still, I was bored silly - we had VIMS issues all day (that's the program we use as a database - designed by Lockheed Martin, which says a lot, I reckon) and not much work as well. And I got to tell the tale of my misadventure many, many times. Basically until I was sick of it.
But hey, people were concerned. Both at work and here. Thanks for the thoughts, guys, I do appreciate it.
A trip to the local police station for me tomorrow - I have to report the whole thing, mainly in case there's issues later on. Brief once-over of Cecil has yet to reveal any damage, which is remarkable, really, but I'll have to check the frame for any scariness. I still can't believe that front wheel isn't buckled tho' - when BRM makes a wheel, it stays made.
