Well of Lost Fics

I've just finished re-reading Neverwhere, and the dangling plot thread (the whereabouts of Door's sister) resurrected an old fic idea I had and had written the first two scenes for a few years ago. So, this evening, whilst I was down the laundromat doing the Emergency Underwear Load (you know the one, when it's that or freebagging the next day), I dug it out of my laptop's harddrive and actually wrote another scene. And that continued when I got home. The Plot Demon had also gotten on board and given me a nice outline for what happens, so all I need to do now is write it.
This is the first fanfic I've written since getting sucked into X-Project. Nice to see me getting part of my brain back from the [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com].

In terms of the offline life, things continue. We'll be hearing the results of the interviews next week. I've been doing a lot of extra stuff at work in an effort to distract myself from revocations, which are as boring as I remember, although not as boring as instalment orders. The bike shall be going to the shop tomorrow to get that dodgy wheel and gears fixed, as well as a new helmet (must remember to call the driver and remind him he's paying for this).
Oh, and Black Books is on. Which is always good.
