With two days before I fly out, I figured it would be useful to give people details. So I can be let into the house, for a start. *grins*

I'm departing Vancouver on Friday, 17th September, on Air Canada Flight AC 33. Flight departs at 7.30pm.

I then fly for 18 hours, with the usual stop in Honolulu, I'm guessing, and arrive in Sydney at 6.30 am Sunday 19th September. Yes, it's the magical disappearing day again. From there I take Qantas Flight Q2 to Melbourne, leaving at 8.05am, and arriving 9.35am Sunday morning.

I'm going to be doing the Skybus/tram combination to get back home, so Phil, expect me to be pawing at the door sometime after 10am.

Then comes the invite. I will be jetlagged. It will be Sunday morning. I can't sleep until Sunday night, otherwise there's no way in hell I'll cope with work the next day. So, I need to be kept awake. Anyone interested in helping with that, rock up to my place in St Kilda around 12.30 and there'll be lunch and probably a pub. Or sitting out in the sun, if the weather's kind. I won't have scads of travel stories for you, having been a lazy bum this past two months, but I'm sure there's plenty I've missed, so come prepared with the news - any sort of news - of the last two months.

You mean you're coming _back_? Damn - that means I've got to get rid of the bodies now, haven't I...?

No problems - I'll be there when you turn up and can provide entertainment and awakeness-providing for the day. Weather looks to be pretty good so general beach-wandering and Beaconsfield-ing should be possible - possibly even a bike ride, since exercise and out-doors-i-ness is good for keeping people awake.

Only I'm in Sydney. It's all a plot by John Howard dammit. Him and his damn geography! ;)
