Christmas countdown...

The week before Christmas is always a busy one at work, not so much because I'm working, but because of all the social stuff. Yesterday was the Kris Kringle/Secret Santa thing, with wine and beer and pressies. Mine got me a set of six shot glasses, which was amusing and rather handy, since now I don't have to make CFCs in the Vegemite glasses any more.. I ended up not going back to my desk that afternoon, and having a couple of beers with Steve and Jelly at the Niagra Hotel afterwards. And then, after that, I had trivia at the George Hotel. Long evening, much booze and bed at midnight.

Yes, I was very slow to get moving today. But it was worth it, dammit! ;)

Today wasn't much better - I had lunch for two work people who are leaving on Friday. No drinking this time, since I'm a little on the seedy side today. And a quiet night in planned - I'm making pasta and looking to see if I have wrapping paper for my Christmas pressies and possibly packing my bag for the weekend.
