Loving where I live

So, this evening I went and had dinner at The Banff, an amusingly-named restaurant/bar down on Fitzroy St that does yummy gourmet pizzas for $7.30. And after a pizza and a glass of McLarenvale shiraz (just the one glass), I went for a walk, down along the seafront. And I realised that I really like living here - five minutes' walk and there's the beach, with a rain front rolling in over the horizon and the setting sun peeking through the gap between cloud and water.

Unfortunately the camera had flat batteries (currently recharging happily) so I couldn't capture it for you. Better luck next time. *grins* Which, I think, shall be tomorrow - I have a vague idea of walking along the beachfront home.

For a minute, I read it wrong and got all excited. Because the idea of a restaurant named after Nightcrawler's teleportation sound effect makes me giddy.
