Alternative career

deathpixieSo, today I played kitchen hand to my mum, since tonight we're having a family dinner - mum and dad, my brother and his girlfriend Eva and a friend of hers, Kim, my auntie Leanne (the one who's four years older than me) and her boyfriend Phil (the local version of my drinking mate *grins*), my brother's friend Donna and me. Nine of us.
It's a lot of food.
But yeah, it was actually a lot of fun. Got to chat with mum a lot today, sort stuff out, and prove I'm not a complete doofus in the kitchen. *grins* And learn some of her secrets. ;)
Oh, and I got my hair done today. Trimmed to shoulder length, and I've had burgandy-red tips put through, which look fantastic. Only I forgot to bring the digital camera with me, so you'll have to wait until later for evidence.
Now, offlineski for me, before people start showing up.
