If it's any consolation, most people will hopefully be putting their thoughts behind cuts so they don't spoil others. Those are easy enough to skip over, but it's annoying to have so many posts come through like that (for me it's Battlestar Gallactica and Stargate. Couldn't care less, but I've got a few major fans on my list).
I don't begrudge anyone not liking the books. I love 'em, but everyone's got that something they can't take. Tolkien puts me to sleep, par example.
And, yes. Silly people forget they're made of meat.
