Ah, but ficcers being the feedback whores we are, we love the comments, we do. And if negative posts about how awful life is get more comments... well, you can see the pattern that emerges. There's a definite culture of not joining in on the joy, whether it's because people feel that doesn't need responding to, or they can't be happy in the face of someone else doing well, or whatever. Interesting exercise in human psychology. ;)
