Well, that was a bit silly...
Jul. 31st, 2005 03:43 pmNo, not any of my more recent posts. I'm not apologising for anything I've said - for the most part, it says what I wanted to.
But what was silly was yesterday afternoon I caught the tram to work, since night shift tends to make me really tired and my concentration's shot for riding. Only problem was, I finished 6am Sunday. And the first trams on Sunday aren't until 7.30.
Gah.
So, basically I walked home. Around 5kms, did it in about three quarters of an hour, and was in bed before 7.15. There was a bit of staggering at the end as my sense of balance went away (at that point I'd been awake for 22 hours), and a horrendous set of double calf muscle cramps some time today that woke me up (OMG, the pain...) but hey, it's all exercise, yes? Makes up for the lack of gym this week due to lurghi.
I'm riding the bike in today - it's too nice a day not to.
And on that note, off I go to shower.
