Is that pre-accent-removal, the guy playing John was, AFAICT, just about perfect visually and accent-wise.

Disagree about the accent - John's nowhere near that posh-sounding. But yeah, visually he'd pull it off fine.

*nods* Agree with Phil - that first "Sod off" was perfect, but the rest of the accent was a bit too Giles-ish. John's more Spike (but not as fake *grins*)

Make it closer to 8:00-ish, to give me time to get back to St Kilda from the Chinese lesson. Am currently using the Tram, due to a) bike has a puncture I haven't gotten 'round to fixing yet and b) my legs are buggered after a mammoth rowing session...

Yep - sounded like he'd just stepped out of Oxford Uni.
