Ahh, no worries ~ I also have a friend who worked at Second Cup, if you want interview / applications tips eventually. (The life of a university student ~ all my friends have these menial jobs at somewhat evil coffee stores. *wry grin*) I totally understand structure - need too much of it myself, sometimes.
That failure feeling is an absolute bitch, I know. But remember that you've moved a couple thousand kilometres and across the dateline, and you're ALLOWED to get accustomed to the new place, complete with long johns (ack, no, I'd rather suffer and usually do) and stylish winter accessories (more my speed *g*). ;)
