Took me about three months to get a job last time I was looking in Australia. Not sure what the job market is like in Canada but most people I was talking to around the time I was job searching seemed to think that wasn't that long to be looking. So, take heart, mate. You'll find something eventually.
Also, a lot of jobs are not advertised in newspapers/websites and the like. Recruitment agencies may have known about jobs through their contacts that never got advertised in the general public. So it's good that you're signing up with several of them.
