The only issues I can see with a cure plot in XP is that it's got to have huge wide-reaching repercussions on the world as a whole and that'll take a lot of wrangling to get through. The other thing will be how it's resolved, because I know there's conflicting opinions on cure plots have an 'easy' conclusion (ie. it's a trick, it's an alien trying to get at the X-Men, the source of the cure is destroyed). If we can sort those out, then yeah, that'd be a good plot, but it's going to need a lot of discussion from everyone in the game since yeah, this'd be one of those things that impacts on everyone.
That being said, I think a meme would be a good way to gauge initial reactions to the concept and spawn possible plot ideas.
