I lose at party time

Heh. The sleep deprivation caught up with me. I blame Alvin - he had way too many things for me to do all at once and broke my brain.
Any way. Headed down to the AGO, got turned around three separate times because a) I've got no sense of direction, especially when it's dark, b) when I'm tired my spatial and recognition abilities go completely out the window and c) it's not a part of town I go to often. Met up with Dex and Lise there and promptly exhibited what the roomie calls "Crazy Rossi Time", and it was suggested I go home and nap. Which I agreed to with about a minute's deliberation. It meant I missed out on Indian food for dinner (and mostly dinner at all - I've had soup and toast, since tiredness = no appetite), but it did also mean I got to pick up [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s Amazon parcel from the post office. *hugs* Thank you for the CD, mate. Also got a card from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], which made me sniffle. Again, I blame the tiredness. ;) And while I'm in "letting people know I got their stuff" mode, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], your parcel came yesterday. :) Thanks so much for the book - Dex laughed when he saw it. And I love the card. :)
So, yeah. Got home, had a nap, had some soup and toast and was vaguely contemplating the pub when [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] came home. So we engaged in rampant piracy instead. I have much in the way of music to listen to now, yay! Music always makes the Rossi happy.
So yeah, I lose at social time. But tomorrow is Friday and I might even finish early, so I'll be a much better social person tomorrow.
