Snow!

For the first time in a month, we actually got snow this evening. Not a lot, and it's closer to soft hail than the light, fluffy flakes we usually get, but it's indeed white stuff falling from the sky.

That's much more like it. Winter so far has been Melbourne standards. :P

And since my snow icon has decided to vanish, I'll use the storm one instead. :)

I heard the news here in Oz that Canada is supposed to have a snow-filled Winter. Be careful what you wish for Jo Jo!

It's a strange world I live in at the moment. The Hume Dam is down to 4%, swimming pools are closing for the Summer and Yact clubs have no water to sail their yacts. Have you ever heard such nonsense?

Melbourne has been placed on the highest water restrictions. Wodonga is still only on Stage 3. Albury has just gone up a notch.

Lucky Lake Hume is a big dam, there is still a bit left in there! It's only January though and as you know our real heat starts in February!! Phew!
