Any way, exploding shoes. Not quite as dramatic as it sounds, but still entertaining - basically, the entire side seam of the boots I was wearing at work yesterday, my one pair of work-type black winter shoes, split. The entire seam. So basically I was left with a shoe that was held together by the laces and some wishful thinking.
Shoe shopping tomorrow.
In other news... I got Gnished again today at work, this time in the form of two massive charts I had to draw up for Jane, in order to assist the settling of the Giant Fucking Case of Doom. Got it done, although it took a hell of a lot of wrangling and man I hate Microsoft Word sometimes.
Was actually in a reasonable mood today, got various things done, including a log that [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], has to post. ;) The roomie was a wonderful person who got me Daywatch at the bookstore in a totally unanticipated surprise. Which I then proceeded to trash on tonight. *sighs* Any way. Bed time for me.
