Don't forget to give me some love this Valentine's Day! Otherwise, I may pout.

My Valentinr - rossi

Also, I'm needing some advice for the day itself. As stated before, I have a tendency to calll Valentine's Day "Break Up Day", since it's as good a date as any in the second week of February. Seven (or is it six? I can't remember atm!) years on, I should be moving on, but the fact I still call it that means I have Issues. Well, that and the counselling and the bouts of Captain Paranoia-driven moods. So, I'm pondering what to do that day, in order to forestall moping. The options are:

Or more fun would be to get the gang over to your place and arrange a dinner ... bcause on VDday (http://www.meish.org/vd/), restaurants are INSANE places to be.

And zombies. There should be zombies. One of my friends here is doing a zombie movie fest that night -- I'd be there xcept my VDday is going to be spent with my nose in textbooks. Yaaaaaaayyy

I believe you should do all of the above, in this order: 2/3, 4, 5 and then 6. Because it makes sense that after an awesome early evening having dinner and at the movies with friends, speed-dating would make you want to go Kent State on happy couples, after which you would need to hide from the police and the immigration service. ^_^

Either go out for dinner or come and be single with me!

I think the speed dating thing could be fun, but if there are no spaces or you're feeling too "omgomgomg" about it, who can say no to pretty people on the television (and on your couch?)

There are some fabulous spas in Toronto. You might do well to spend a little time getting pampered and prettified. I'll be spending Valentine's day with my mother because [livejournal.com profile] themage is going to Vancouver. :p

(Not that I'd know personally. For me 'doing my nails' means biting them nice and even and getting dressed up means putting on my good motorcycle boots.)

My answers are not in any way selfish. Except thoroughly. ;)

Asking me for advice on what to do on Valentine's Day is like asking for cooking classes from Hannibal Lector. So what you should do is this-- find out what I'm doing this Valentine's Day. Whatever that is-- do the exact opposite. You can't fail George.

If you want to date, the speed-dating thing might be fun, but otherwise my vote goes to hanging out and doing something you'll really enjoy (I am guessing that rifle-shooting does not usually figure in ;). Also, if you are looking to avoid loneliness, you must leave your room. Or have others venture in.

Oh! Have a bad movie night! I highly recommend High School Musical (key quote: "She wouldn't even need her brother if she could figure out how to play Romeo AND Juliet by herself"; key moral: People can have more than one talent), Bring It On 3: All or Nothing (key quote: "Coffee is like crack for white girls!"), The Covenant (key quote: "Why don't you give up... or why don't I make you my WI-OTCH!!!") and anything starring or influenced by Britney Spears. You have to be drunk to watch them, but they are seriously funny when you are. ;) Okay, really, that was just an excuse to share my favourite movie quotes ever. I'm done now.

I've got tons of chick flicks, so if I get organized enough, and set up my tv, and you want to, we could even do it here ... this weekend will tell ...

Sorry I missed you guys later tonight--I came back, but was later than I thought.

Possibly not the dating party. Because you're probably going to be a little nervous anyway, and adding on the pressure to try and make a good memory out of the party isn't a receipe for success. Instead, get a bunch of your friends together, go out to a really nice dinner and then have a movie night afterwards.

Positive memories is the name of the game, afterall.
