'Silly' is the word for it, mate. I've given up trying to figure out what's going on in BRM's head - the next day he was encouraging me and offered to get David's number off him at school for me. *shakes head* I honestly give up on him - he's not my problem any more, any way.
At this point, I'd settle for a friend. David is cute, albeit tall: *grins* we're talking stepladder for me here. ;) But I'm still smarting from recent disappointments - silly, I know, seeing how it was me that didn't want to get involved, and I only got what I wanted - and I'm quite happy to have someone to go mountain biking with. I guess I'm just happy to know I'm not a freak after all. ;)
