Nono, slopers are a sewing thingie, no one expects you to know that, no casting. *grin* Slopers, or blocks, are what we call the basic of all basic patterns. There are three of them: bodice, skirt and trouser. They come in size 10 (34-26-36, I think) and you size them up and down accordingly. The idea behind them is that while they're rather boring, in terms of looks, they always fit exceptionally well. What we're learning is how to manipulate the slopers so that you get the same perfect fit AND they're attractive to look at.
