Hump Day

Half way through what's been an interesting week. Lots of ups, a few downs, a bit of middling. Bed for me soon, I think, since I'm getting sleepy.

Positives for the past few days:

1) Shopping with Lauren. Not only did I get new clothes, I got lots of hints about how to wear them. Plus, hanging out with Lauren = doubleplusgood. I've been getting compliments at work since, whee!

2) Did some very good people handling which resolved crises.

3) Made some emails that were long overdue, and which went far better than Captain Paranoia had been telling me.

4) Walking - did my walks Monday and Tuesday, (not tonight 'cause it was insanely cold), and four days last week. I think I'm actually feeling a difference.

5) Pinged one of the people from my new distraction and had a nice chat. As well as set up the journal and icons for said distraction. ;)

6) Appetite's back this week, in time for roomie's Jamie Oliver-inspired cooking spree. Bliss. :)

I'm glad the clothes are working out for you, sweetie. I'm more than a little willing to go be girlie with you whenever you please. *grin!* And comments from co-workers is exactly what you deserve, hotness.

I'm curious as to how the 'collared shirt under jumper' thing works out.
