I feel your pain. Baxter was a chronic wetter, and it was completely behavioural. The litter box had to be impeccable - but it sounds like you did this. You must get out all trace of smell. Nature's Miracle was hit or miss. For laundry, a soak overnight in vinegar and HOT wash with Oxyclean. I got the smell out of our futon mattress with HOT water and Oxyclean, although this did stain the cover. Invest in a waterproof mattress cover once you've gotten the smell out. Any big change would set him off, even sometimes moving furniture. The smell of other animals would sometimes piss him off. Wet towels seemed to be a trigger. Check under the bed, if anyone's soiled there it may be attracting them to above the bed. Cat repellents don't work and are unhealthy. The best product I found was Feliway spray. It's pretty expensive, but it really worked. It's synthetic pheremones and it calms them down. I got Baxter to stop peeing on the doormat by spraying it. It's expensive, but it works, and you don't need much. Good luck!!
