I can't find the logic in it, and my brain kind of short-wires itself. :( I really like that it's accessible to more people, and kind of wish I learned it before I learned HTML, so it would be all I know - but I seriously can't figure out why ''' would be bold when [b] (with carets instead of brackets) would work just as well. =/
For me, a href makes perfect sense; The a is the link, the href is the protocol (hypertext reference) that is a difference from just using, say, an anchor. For me, it's like... trying to eat spagetti with a spoon. It can be done, but it doesn't make sense and is really hard for me. :(
