Itchy Feet

It is realistic this time, not just pie-in-the-sky dreaming, and that's what's made the difference in my mood the last few days. I'm not just wallpapering over the cracks, I'm genuinely feeling better about things. Enough to the point of standing up to BRM when he pooh-poohed the whole idea and reminded me that had he not pushed me, I would never have gotten the court job in the first place and I'd still be waitressing. But I stood up to him and told him that I'm going to at least try and do something, that I wanted to do something useful with my life. So there. :P
