Damn straight. I remember after Jeff Kennett (arch-conservative arsehole) was made premier of Victoria, there was a rash of bumper stickers - "Well, I didn't vote for him!" The implication being that "Well, I'm not a conservative voter!", rather than "Well, I didn't give a rat's arse about the election!" THe last state election we had, I was positive, fatalistically so, that he'd get in for a third time - everyone seemed happy to have a state leader who 'put the state back in the black' financially, at the cost to education and health. You could have knocked me down with a feather when he lost. So voting does change things, even when you think it won't.
Not voting and then complaining about the result is just empty words. You want to change something? Then put your money where your mouth is.
