Winter in Canada

You know it's cold when you see coffee someone's spilled on the pavement has already frozen into a coffee slush puddle.

Minus 12 Celsius as the high today, minus 17 tomorrow. It's a bit chilly.

I also know I'm acclimitising when I can still walk from the subway to work (10 minutes' worth) in minus 12 degree weather, and be as warm as toast when I get in.

It also appears my new "Gnish" case (not actually Gnish, but someone just as annoying) is trying to break my brain. After yesterday's frantic filing efforts, I get to do yet more filing today, since the bastard's decided one application in one court isn't enough, he has to file an appeal somewhere else as well.

Duuuuuude. -47 here this morning. :P My hair froze IN THE CAR after I'd warmed it up for 10 minutes!

-30 here this morning, -39 with the windchill. Our high (air temp) was -22. It's a lucky thing you chose to move to Toronto, it's about the warmest place in winter short of BC. :P
