So, had a talk to Sonia about the State of My Employment, and it's transpired that I do not, in fact, have to wait until I've made up my absences before I roll over into permanent staff. I do, however, have to wait until they sort their crap out, which will be end of May/start of June. Also, my backpay should have come through already, so it's likely to be in tomorrow's pay. Hopefully. *is taking that one with a large pile of salt*

Basically, I can't trust what anyone says from HR until I actually physically get the proof in my hands. Which is frustrating, but hey, at least I know where things stand?
