I was about 10 when Home Alone came out... I was just the right age for the first one. I used to kind of rag on his films for their 80s camptitude. One of the few movies my sister and I can agree to watch together is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. We loved that movie so much we named our late dog after him. Then there is that one one I couldn't really understand until I watched it with a group of computer science majors.
