I recently ended up watching Slice on cable because I didn't get to the gym before a Slice-watcher did. The programs and commercials all seemed to be based upon feeding off of women's self-hatred (e.g.The Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp, Real Housewives of Orange County, Project Runway, Bulging brides, The Biggest Loser, etc. ).
