That meme has been bothering me too. Probably more than you-- unlike you I don't think people are doing it to rub it in my face. I know they're doing it. People in happy committed relationships who aren't family make me sick. I hate them all. Especially the ones who try to help me by introducing me their friends who they know aren't even close to my type just because we both happen to be single. The friends who do that-- the things I want to do them involve a combination of the chair from Clockwork Orange and Mystery Science Theater 3000 without the robot friends. I try to be a happy person but I'm actually a meltdown waiting to happen.
