deathpixie: (one day I'll fly away)
[personal profile] deathpixie
The Bad:

1) LJ being down most of yesterday;

2) Rain and snow in Toronto - it was freezing;

3) Discovered a hole in the butt of my last pair of jeans. At work;

4) Yet another day of work insanity, to top off the week of work insanity;

5) Outlook crashing on me at about 2:30 p.m. and not coming back until close to 5, which meant I had a bunch of emails to answer before I could leave;

6) General crankiness, spurred by various things including that wacky PMS thing.

The Good:

1) Two new pairs of jeans for just over $50 at Winners;

2) Lunch at my sushi place - seafood udon, yum;

3) Went to bed early and slept, with kitties acting as hot water bottles;

4) Today is lovely and sunny;

5) My hair was pretty yesterday;

6) My back no longer hurts.

The Plan-y:

Today, I am going to:

1) Walk down to Roncesvalles;

2) Get brunch at one of the coffee shop/cafes;

3) Take my laptop with me and WRITE;

4) Take my phone with me so [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] can ping me to let me know when she wants to go look at bikes.

My mood's still all over the place, so I think going outside and spending some time on myself that isn't sitting on the couch with the laptop is a good idea. The walk's about five kilometres, so it ought to get the blood stirring (I might grab some juice and a slice of toast before I leave, since my blood sugar's been all over the place lately for some reason) and it is very sunny out there. Also, getting out of the rut is a good thing. And I know the only way I'm going to get any of the short stories I have on board done is to remove myself from all distractions.
