Speaking from one who's probably got permanent scarring in her kidneys, please watch out for those infections, follow all the doctor's orders, take your meds, and drink lots of fluids. I was hospitalized twice with kidney infections because I wasn't responding to the oral antibiotics, once in 1995 and again in 1996. Now, this is no big deal to me because I love hospitals (I'm a freak), but at the same time, there's the fact that I *do* have permanent kidney damage now, I'll bet.
