I just commented on a fic last night that was just really pleasant - like, everyone had fun, there was an excess of schmoopy love without being saccarine, etc. I feel like part of the emphasis on 'bromances' or weird friendship/group dynamic stuff is that THOSE are somehow allowed to be fun and friendly and awesome without as much 'necessary angst'. *shrugs*
