Exhibit one: Yet another fucking coldsore.

Exhibit two: Dry hacking coughing fits.

Exhibit three: Aching joints and sinuses.

Verdict? I'm getting sick. Yay. :P

To be expected, really. My immune system tends to crash, not during periods of stress, but about a week after. Which is why I've gotten sick a week after the last four house moves. And it looks like my luck's run out, which is sucky since I was sick over Easter, which wasn't that long ago. Bah.

On a more positive note - 'cause being positive is what it's all about at the moment. ;) - I had another counselling session today. And I got through it without crying, at all, although the voice did get a bit rough in a couple of patches. And Roz said I've been making progress, which isn't hard considering the shape I was in last time I saw her. ;) Onward and upward!

Work was pretty blah today. We've got a work experience student in, whihch means I'm having to explain everything I do, and my voice is a bit tired tonight as a result. But at least cases are clearing up - court was looking at being horribly overbooked this week, but two things have fallen over which means less stuff. Still, I wish I was Coroner's Court trained, since Mr Hardy is doing the inquest on Thursday (an older gentleman who crashed his car into a tree after falling unconscious at the wheel following a prostate test - he was released twenty-five minutes after the examination itself and began bleeding on the way back) and I'll be clerking for Mr Murphy, the magistrate who picks his nose and taps on the bench with a pen rather than actually using my name to get my attnetion. :P Besides, I think we'll be doing a civil case, which is going to be dead boring. Better summon up a Constantine fictive to keep me awake.

I'm listening to "This Is Not The House That Pain Built" by Dar Williams. It's oddly fitting, sitting here in my quiet lounge, relaxing after work..

Just be glad you've got a job and a counselor to listen to you, Rossi. There's some of us who'd give a lot to get both, or either. Take care.

...

Well, that was pretty damn heartless.

Sorry about the way that sounded, and I've already thrown a letter of apology to Rossi.
