Well, I am still poxy, but my attitude's improved 100% and I'm even starting to look forward to the Walkabout again. Which is good, because it sucks if you're goinv somewhere and you're not really feeling that good about it. I just hope I'm de-spotted by then, because I'll scare the living daylights out of Farli and Phil at the airport. *grins* I look like a demon extra from an Angel episode.

Some very welcome mail yesterday - the bank stuff I needed to transfer the funds I need for the Walkabout. For the past ten years I've been salting away small amounts of money into an investment account, one I can't touch untiil it matures periodically. It was intended as a deposit on the house BRM and I were going to build/renovate, but with things changing as they did, I decided to do what I'd been wanting to do for years and spend some serious quality time travelling. Half went on the iBook, and the other half is going to sustain me for the next five months, provided I don't go nuts (the exchange rate is still sucky). And the paperwork came through yesterday, so all I need to do is get it in and the money will transferred on 28/7/02.

Darn, folks are home, better go.
