Better day...

Ah, back on the upswing of this crazy emotional rollercoaster I'm on. *shakes head* At least I know partly why I was in such a funk - I got my period today. Damn PMT.

*snickers* Yet again the Subreality gals are synchronizing cycles. ;)

Long, hard wearying day today. Children's Court, both criminal and protection divsions, plus a couple of Family Law applications (one involving a rather unhinged woman who threatened to kill her ex-husband whilst talking to his lawyer!) and a few Magistrates' Court criminal matters. We ended up sitting all day, which is something considering we had "Speedy" McLeod as the magistrate. But we got through it all, and when I got home (with a pounding headache) I ran the bath with some Epsom salts and lavendar oil, took a Neurofen (the only thing that works on my neck-strain/stress headaches) and soaked for about an hour until the phone rang for me.

David, of all people. *big grin* He was just checking to see I was okay after my spill, and to apologise for not getting back to me about Sal Ebanez's karate training times. It was nice, talking to him. :) And I managed to finally get through to the dojo itself, and found out the training times! Monday throught to Thursday, 6.30-8pm. I'm not sure of the price yet, but I'll go over tomorrow, either watch or train, and ask then. It may be that I can only afford twice a week, but that will be enough for me. It's just enough to train again. :) I'm really hoping this place works out.

I also got an invite to Wondermouse's 21st party for the 19th of May. Which means I'll have to go to Melbourne again. *grins* It's a themed party - dress as your favourite TV/movie character - and I've had a rather scary idea that BRM actually thinks is cool; ressurecting my 'costume' from the third Halloween Massacre. Yep, I'm going to see if I can scramble together a Trinity (as in The Matrix) outfit. *chuckles* It'll work better than getting a blond wig and a stake and going as Buffy. ;) I'm not cut out to be a blond.

So I'm in a much better mood than yesterday. And thanks to those folks who cheered me up. I'd be lost without ya.

Aw... Death Pixie as Trinity... the thought brings a tear and a smile to my eyes. We must have pictures, yes, and then you must show them to us, yes, and then you must go and shag that wonderful Michael the next day, yes, and then -- Oh, wait, period. That sucks. Well, go shag him next week, and then flirt with David some, yes, and look great and tell us ALL about it...

*chuckling* Yeah, I liked the idea too. And since the party is next weekend I can go and "shag that wonderful Michael". He was asking when he was going to see me next. *giggles* Hmm, now to find a pair of black vinyl pants... BRM's lending me his leather jacket, and I can get a pair of combat boots cheap from the surplus place near work. And yes, I will take photos, and scan them, and work out how to put them up on my journal, or pass them on the Ki for the Who's Who page, since I don't have one myself. *shamefaced grin* Yes, I am a techno-nong.

Okay, that's just creepy. I'm due mine too -- though I probably won't get it, long story, but if I was NORMAL it would hit yesterday or today. LOL! I know roomies can synchronize, but for heaven's sake our "House" is imaginary... ;)
