I've been having a productive week. Mainly emotional-type stuff, but I'm gradually getting things into a form I feel I can handle, which is good.

I went to the supermarket after work today to put some food in my fridge (it was doing that whole scary empty thing again), and I saw a sign on the wall, near some parking. A proper, official-type sign, not graffitti. It read:

PLEASE RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS.

It made me smile. And wish for a decent camera.

I've been doing that of late, thinking of things in terms of photos. I got into the habit whilst on Walkabout, a combination of that holiday attitude, and travelling with a photographer. Something to think about, one day, when I'm doing more than subsisting.

And hey, Victoria's low-income earners get a pay rise. Anyone who earns less than $700 a week gets an extra $17 per pay. It's rather sadly ironic that court clerks are included in that. Still, I'm not holding my breath - they usually figure out a way to avoid giving us money.

This whole Pan thing is a right pain in the butt. For those not aware, Pan manufactures alternative-medicine-type products, like vitamins and such. Business was suspended a few weeks ago when it was found their manufacturing processes were flawed: they were using untested materials, fudging test results, that kind of thing. So, there's about 1500 various theraputic-type products that have been recalled.

Where does the Rossi fit in here? Well, I take a few things - evening primrose oil, for PMT, lysine as an immune system booster, echinacea lozenges when I get a cold. And of course, all the brands of these products I use have been recalled. And of course, this week is the week I need all three. I'm making do with straight echinacea, and hoping it does the trick. I so don't want to be sick again, scratchy throat and sniffly nose notwithstanding.

I need a healthier workplace.

And the results are back from my blood test - everything's normal, including liver function (for those concerned about my drinking *grins*), which means it's all in my head again. Yay. :P

Good news. Mel's staying with me for an extra week after GASP. I'm going to see about a couple of extra days off. Need Mel therapy, dammit. ;)

Amanda's down in Melbourne weekend after next as well. Must find a dance club.

Okay, enough from me. Catch you all later.

Heh. Y'know, anyone can get Mel Therapy for the very cheap and affordable price of [Transport + Meals + a few drinks]. We can even set up an easy payment plan.

However she doesn't come with echinacea or primrose oil...
