For a Sunday, I've been rather productive. Fixed my latest puncture (and boy, did I rip the valve off that time - damn thing was almost completely torn off), got my bike tyres up from 20 psi to 100 with no effort at all (love the new toy), and contemplated cleanign the chain but decided against it. Cleaned up some, took out the rubbish and the recycling, and then went and bought sufficient food to last me for a couple of weeks, which was good because the fridge was doing that "completely bare" thing again. It seems living on my own makes me less inclined to look after this stuff - I mean, if there's someone else around, you have Consequences if you don't do things, like people getting unhappy that there's no food. With just me, there's no impetus, apart from the occasional "Shit, no food." thing.

I possibly could think about looking after myself a little better.

I've decided that Friday Night drinks after work are a Bad thing and will end up killing me. Mainly because we had jugs of beer and people kept topping up my glass and I completely lost track of how much I'd had. Needless to say, Saturday was very, very, very quiet.

I'm thinking I'll pop offline now and get back to Constantine in the Land of the Avon Ladies. It's that kind of day. I'd go down the pub and write (with minimal beer - I've done my drinking for the next month, I'd say) there, only I'm expecting a call.

Oh, and I think I'm the only person on my side of LJ (well, those who post regularly) who has absolutely no interest, whatsoever, in the new Harry Potter book. So thanks for the cutaways that have enabled me to avoid the bulk of the sqeeing. Enjoy, people. :)
