I like Fridays. I don't believe I can stress this enough. Any day where I'm allowed to wear casual to work (and we're oh-so-very casual today) and organises a sumptuous morning tea roster is Okay in my book. And ordinarily that book resembles [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] printed out and bound when it comes to my job. ;)

Extremely girly evening last night. I found the most gorgeous top to wear at this party tomorrow night, which can be used for other events as well, so it's not a waste of money. I bought make-up. *gasp!* I even got one of those facial masques and cleansed my pores (poor things didn't know what had happened to them). Of course, it was only short-lived - today I'm wearing a t-shirt and my khaki pants with sneakers, sitting cross-legged on my chair and stuffing my face with popcorn... But it's nice to remind myself (and others) that not only am I female, but a rather cute one at that.

Suppose I should do some work now - feel free to distract me at any time, I'm only going to be sorting files for various court dates...

And the merry-go-round spins again.

And it looks like I'm never getting off.

Missed out on that job I got interviewed for yesterday, which really, really bites. I'm so sick of putting in the effort of writing aplications and going to interviews and then being told I'm not fucking good enough. I'm sick of crappy pay and menial work and not being allowed to advance because I can't jump through the damn interview hoops. I know I'm good enough to be a manager, they know I'm good enough, so why the hell won't they give me a chance?

Some good - Peter (the boss at Sunshine) is going to meet with me next week to give me detailed feedback on my technique. So next time - and may it be sooner rather than later - I'll hopefully do better.

I knew if I got excited about this I wouldn't get it. Bloody kiss of death, actually hoping I get something.
