People confuse me
Jan. 27th, 2005 07:33 pmToday I spent the entire day going through one matter. This twenty-something girl had 290 speeding, parking and tollway fines. She was applying to revoke 200 of them. I ended up refusing the application, since she's claming she never got the 200 courtesy letters sent to her house, the same address she's living at now. Apparently she has a black hole in her mailbox.
People boggle me, they really do. How do you ignore something like that?

Australia Day festivities were very good, which is why I feel like death warmed over now. The St Kilda Inn was having an all-day concert - 12 bands, 6 DJs, all for a cover of $20. And the even better thing? Both the cover and the bar takings for the day were donated to World Vision for the tsunami appeal. So we were drinking for charity, Phil, Bounce and I. ;)
It's not often you can say that.
Of course now I'm short on sleep and vaguely seedy, mainly because it was 37 degrees C and humid, which meant more drinking than usual faster than usual. But all in a good cause. And now, I go scrounge for something to eat.
