May. 5th, 2005 06:59 pmSo, tomorrow I'm going to be working in the Family Law section of Melbourne Magistrates' Court, renewing my intervention order knowledge for the after-hours work. Yay, domestic violence. But yeah, I'm not expecting to be anywhere near my work email, so don't ping me, I'll ping you. ;)
I'm also catching the Old Faithful 17:10 Wodonga train after work, and spending the weekend with my family. I haven't done that since Christmas, and given the news of this week and the fact it's Mother's Day on Sunday and my birthday on Tuesday, the timing works well. So again, not so much with me online until Sunday night.
Monday marks the start of the shift work. I'm working 8am-5pm Monday and Tuesday, and then 1pm-10.30pm Wednesday and Thursday, with four days off before it starts again with the 6am-4pm and 5pm-6am shifts. *grins* It's going to be interesting, but at least they're weaning me onto things with the easiest shifts.
Going out with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] for my birthday to see Hitchiker's Guide... at the George, which should be fun. Bounce, if you're up for it, want to turn up earlier and we'll have dinner somewhere on Fitzroy Street first before we meet Phil? The Banff has $5 gormet pizzas on Tuesdays... *grins*
