So, I had a letter from the Canadian Consultate today. My application for permanent residence is in the final stage of processing.
And what does that mean, I hear you ask?
Well, basically I have 60 days to send them my passport, four more ID photos and $975 CA, and in return I get a shiny visa that's valid for travel until the 6th January next year.
*lets that sink in*
Yes, I got it. Yes, I'm going to Canada to live and work for a minimum of two years. Yes, I can take my life off 'hold' and start actually planning the rest of the year.
*grins* I can't believe it. I've been wanting this for so long and now it's happened.
And eight days before my birthday, too. Best bloody present I've had in ages.
