The deed is done
Nov. 4th, 2006 03:38 pmSo, yesterday, almost a whole 24 hours ago, my younger brother got married. It was a lovely wedding, down at the Howlong golf club, outside by their fountain/pond/rose garden arrangement. David looked great, even if the choice of a black suit and black shirt meant he nearly melted in the heat - it was about 30 degrees C - and Eva was just gorgeous. As my uncle Phil said as she came through: "Wow, Dave's got himself a stunner, hasn't he?"
There are photos, but again, I can't upload them until I get back to Canada since I left my cable behind. But everyone had a great time, mum and dad survived without nervous breakdowns, even when the best man locked his keys in the car he and Dave were supposed to drive to Howlong, and the bride and groom are just blissfully happy. We went over for a BBQ today, and Eva was taking every opportunity to address David as "my husband". *giggles*
And I'm going to go have a nap, since five hours sleep plus hangover plus another warm day makes for a sleepy Rossi.
