Birthday Wishes

So, given the time difference, today is my mum's birthday. Happy Birthday, mum. I shall call my tonight/your mid-morning, once I'm home from having dinner with a friend.

And since my family asks about the winter quite often, here's what Kansas looks like as of yesterday.

Argh. Alvin just turned up from his three-day case with a huge wad of exhibits needing photocopying. Only, they haven't been sorted so he's feeding them to me in dribs and drabs.

Why does this always happen in the days I must leave by a certain time? Dex, I should leave by 5, but I might be a little late if Alvin doesn't get off the bloody phone soon.
